 If your desire as a woman of God is to build glorious and magnificent things for your King, then I encourage you to let every breath become a prayer – filled with praise and filled with His Word.
Releasing the Spirit of God to Move
When every breath becomes a prayer in your life you will begin to release the Spirit of God to move powerfully and beautifully, weaving into and through every situation and into every moment of your day and life. I Thessalonians 5: 16-18 tells us to Be JOYFUL always; PRAY continually; GIVE THANKS in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Imagine for a moment what your home and family would be like if you applied I Thessalonians 5: 16-18 to your life – being joyful always, praying continually, and giving thanks in everything! You would create an atmosphere that the Spirit and Glory of God absolutely could not resist, a place for Him and His Glory to dwell and move in!
Our Most Important Duty
I believe prayer is the most powerful and most important duty we have as women of God, as wives and as mothers. If we are going to build our lives, our homes, our husbands, our children, our communities, churches and nation, then our lives must be lives of prayer. When we pray and live according to His Word, we invite God in, and all the powers of heaven begin to move on our behalf. When we do not pray, then all we have is our own limited human strength and wisdom to bring change.
As I close today, I want to encourage you to build today by the power of His Spirit and let every breath become a prayer – anytime and anywhere.
Closing Prayer
Father, we come to you today with the entirety of our lives, and we ask that you would help us to turn every breath into a prayer, and help us to live out 1st Thessalonians 5: 16-18 in our homes and families. Help us to create an atmosphere in our lives and homes that is absolutely irresistible to you. A place where your Holy Spirit loves to dwell and move.
