As Women of God we make choices everyday to sow and to build either by the arm of the flesh or by the Power of the Holy Spirit. We can make the choice to pray and sow to the Spirit or to manipulate to get our own way. Galatians 6: 8 tells us that if we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption; but if we sow to the Spirit, we will reap life.
This really is an amazing truth that we need to use in evaluating and building our marriages, homes, and every area of our lives. if we sow to the flesh in our marriage relationship by reverting to manipulation, rebellion or other means, then in that relationship we will be sowing and reaping corruption, ultimately tearing it down with our own hands.
However, if we sow and live in accordance with the Spirit and the Word of God, doing things His way, choosing to pray and release Him to move rather than manipulate, then we will reap life! When we are not praying, then the flesh tends to try to make things happen rather than waiting on God and seeking His counsel.
When we are committed to build and cover everything in prayer, not only does it release God to move in the circumstances but it also causes our Spirits to be sensitive to the instruction and correction of the Holy Spirit within our own lives.
I encourage you to make a commitment today to pray as never before, sowing and releasing the life of God into your home, marriage, family and every other area of your life.
Closing Prayer
Father, thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to strengthen and empower us to to build and to sow life into every area of our lives and into the lives of others, as we build for your Glory.
HAVE A GLORIOUS DAY!
